Final Fantasy is second only to One Piece as my biggest fandom. My favorite numbered entries in particular are: Final Fantasy XV, which is my main hyperfixation because of the characters (looking at you, Ardyn). Final Fantasy X, as my favorite overall game with its perfect gameplay, soundtrack, story, characters… ahh! Final Fantasy XIV, which is another one I love everything about except for my anxiety regarding playing online games with others getting in the way (as well as lack of free time to devote to an endless MMORPG) has me STILL haven’t caught up with it. Alas… I’ll return to Eorzea someday to continue properly swooning over you yet, Zenos yae Galvus…

… Oh, but I also like Final Fantasy VIII (if they ever remake it, it’ll probably be my new favorite), Final Fantasy VII (my original favorite as a tween, but I got burnt out on it), Final Fantasy XIII (screw you guys it was the coolest thing ever to me when it first came out), Final Fantasy XVI (still need to finish it, but… Cidolfus, my beloved…). Need to play the others, but again… need time to dedicate hundreds of hours to RPGs first </3

And lastly, a reminder to NEVER FORGIVE SQUARE-ENIX FOR GETTING RID OF DFFOO, THE ONLY GACHA GAME THAT EVER MATTERED… RIP 💔

You ever see people online call characters their “fictional other (F/O)”? Or maybe simply referring to the phenomenon as “self-shipping” or the newer term “yumeshipping”? Well, whichever way you call it… Ardyn Izunia (from Final Fantasy XV) is that for me. He is absolutely my fictional husband and I am passionate about him to a batshit insane degree. Do not underestimate my tendency to “Ardynpost”, for even mentioning his name to me is to open up a neverending black hole of ramblings from me.

TL;DR? I LOVE ARDYN (check out my collection page to see just how much.)

Umineko stands as my favorite story ever written, and as dramatic as this sounds, it was a life-changing experience as it resonated with me in a way that no other piece of fiction has ever done. Which you can see over on my custom dolls page of the site!

One Piece is the most important series to my heart and quite literally changed my life in every way. A shared love of the series is what led me to bond with my family during a dark period in my life (especially with my mother), and ultimately led me to meet my husband! And as a representation of the impact it has had on the lives of my household of loved ones, we all work together contributing to cultivating one of the largest collections of its memorabilia in the world (if not the largest in North America), which you can see over on my collection page!

I like seeing myself as a female Trafalgar Law! Since my real name is Lauren, then I guess that makes me LAWren!… (cue crickets) So you can bet that when he was (temporarily) turned into a girl into the series and just so happened to look like me, I (jokingly, I swear) considered it fate and was like “THAT’S ME!! My favorite Umineko character is Clair Vaux Bernardus, who also happens to be my favorite female character design ever. I really wanted her to be the rep on this page, but alas… no official chibi sprites of her exist to match the theme of this page!

Therefore, the honor instead goes to my favorite Higurashi character, Rena Ryuuguu (who I intensely identify with, so it works out)!

My favorite Klonoa character is the King of Sorrow!! He’s my favorite anthro character design ever. I just love this sad little guy, and it’s such a shame that he didn’t have a bigger role nor a bigger fanbase… !

Fan artists out there, I beg of thee to please make more fan merch of this sorrowful king, because one of your customers is guaranteed to be me!! And if you have? Then you already have my money, as it’s definitely on display in my collection~
